My Weightloss Story

I was a pretty cute child, admittedly.
I grew up the youngest of 3 girls, and definitely had youngest sister syndrome. Luckily we have all grown up to get along just fine (and usually well)!  :)

My weight problem really prefaced when I was in late middle school/early high school. As a 15 year old high school sophomore, I found myself teetering on the line of morbid obesity. I had a lot of self-esteem issues, never had a boyfriend, etc. At 16 I joined Weight Watchers with my parents and finally got my weight under control.

Throughout college I had my weight ups and downs and realized this would be a constant battle. My sophomore year of college I was looking for a challenge to help keep my weight loss and working out on track. I trained for and completed a sprint triathlon.

After graduating from college and moving home for grad school, all the changes in my life had a big affect on my diet. I sadly, gained 30+ lbs in 6 months. (Didn't take a lot of pictures at this point, not surprisingly).

So here I am. I am working on the constant battle of trying to get and keep myself in a healthy weight range. I am constantly looking for physical ways to challenge myself, and running is my newest passion. I am also learning to go about eating in a healthier way, and hopefully helping my body out in the long run.
